cpl-09 the inter department cricket tournament is going on in our college.Team cs is playing as the defending champions.Looking back to last years cpl journey,we were unbeaten during the whole tournament except one league match that we played against ec seniors.Last year team cs was considered to be one of the weakest team before the start up of the tournament,But the story totally changed as the tournament progressed.Our bowling department was extremely strong.Our oppositions were not able to cross even 50 run mark.Last year batting was the area of concern for us.But somehow we managed to win the tournament as not much work was needed for the batting department,because our bowlers were able to confine the oppositions at very low score.

This year the scenario has changed.Other departments are practising too much to improve their game whereas we are not able to practise for a single day.This has a direct impact on our game.Last years confident cs team is somehow managing to keep their hopes alive in the tournament.Our batting department is the serious area of concern this year, as well as our bowlers are also not performing consistently .My performance graph as individual is going down after each match.In spite of getting good start in the last two match ,i was not able to play fruitful innings for my team.Number of my critics are increasing after each match.According to them i play only in the practise matches. But thanks to my captain for still having faith in my cricketing skills.We are now into quarter final.I hope that my team will repeat last years performance this year again to maintain the supremacy of our branch in every field.

MY BTECH LIFE

More than half of my btech cllg life has past,but still i wonders why i preferred doing btech rather than any other course??The first answer that comes to my mind is that it may be due to the ease of getting jobs without much study.To some extent i was true because i never studied in my cllg except at the time of exams.But actually if we look into the btech curriculum,it is not as easy as i thought.

When i retrospects into my school days i find many changes in me from my school days to cllg days.Earlier i used to concentrate totally on my studies.I used to write all the notes and assignments on my own & my friends used to come and take notes and assignment from me.Now,my studies are totally dependent on one of my dearest friend.(people call us Tom &Jerry).I have thoroughly followed the so called "C to D" theory.My study hours is inversely proportional to my semester.

Some of my friends think that i am 180 degree changed from my school days. But i think that tough i have changed,still i have attained many positive traits and confidence.(eg-I fool my lab staffs and faculties daily with a lot of confidence.Even i wonder after explaining them that what i have explained??)One thing that i have learnt from my cllg days is how to perform in last minute??

Sometimes i ponder whether i am spoiling my life or enjoying it??????????????But at the next moment i block all the good thoughts thinking that "Change is the rule of nature"...............
